Episode synopsis: An elderly patient checks in who has been treating his heart disease with chicken soup. He doesn't want to let his wife know he's dying. She brings him chicken soup and he dies with her without extra medical treatment. His wife knew all along. Eddie learns that he is to be replaced by a pill-dispensing machine. Jackie campaigns to keep him. Jackie learns from an opiate detoxing patient, that you can order pain killers online.
