what is the bond between Jackie and Dr. O'hara?

From the beginning we see a close bond between Jackie and Dr. O'Hara. Why? Is it because Jackie is smart. competent, or what? She doesn't seem to know she has a drug addiction, or did I miss something there? She feels a strong friendship and knows she married. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I like their friendship.

For those who have seen Episode 7 already on OnDemand, I have a question. Do you think Dr. O'hara knows about Jackie's drug use? I didn't think so, but after she offered Jackie some valium and Jackie acted like a "lightweight" but really snuck half the bottle, Dr. O'hara played along but seemed to give Jackie an odd look as she left. It was as if she wanted to call her out on it, but decided not to. I might be reading too much into that scene, but if that was the intent I thought it was brilliantly acted. I think Dr. O'hara will develop into a character that is much more insightful than her outer persona would lead you to believe.

I don't think she does know about the drug use. But she does know shes screwing the pharmacist, so she certainly can put 2 and 2 together. It will reveal itself soon 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
